How does the credit system work?

We deduct the daily rate — your applicable monthly rate divided by 30 — from your balance for each day an account is active. If an account is active for 7 days, you only pay for 7 days. Credits never expire.

What counts as an active VPN account?

An active VPN account is an account that is in Active status in the VPNresellers system. Accounts that are suspended, disabled, or otherwise inactive are not treated as active accounts for billing. Active does not mean that we monitor whether the end user actually connected to or used the VPN that day. VPNresellers operates with a no-logs approach, so we do not track individual user browsing activity or use connection activity to determine billing status. Billing is based on the account's status in the VPNresellers system, not on observed end-user usage.

Is the monthly price charged upfront per account?

No. The listed price is the monthly-equivalent rate for an active account. We deduct costs daily on a prorated basis from your credit balance, and only while an account is active. You are never billed a full month for a partially active account.

How do the volume tiers work?

Your tier is determined by your total number of active accounts, and the tier price applies to every active account. For example, with 10,000 active accounts you pay $0.99 per active account per month; at 30,000 you pay $0.94; at 300,000 you pay $0.79. As you grow, the new rate applies to your whole base the moment you enter the tier.

Are there any signup fees or minimums?

No. There are zero signup fees, zero setup costs, and zero monthly minimums. You simply create an account, add credit (minimum $25), and start selling.

What is the difference between the included VPNclient apps and custom-branded apps?

The included VPNclient apps are brandless white label apps with no VPNresellers logo and no reseller logo, reseller-specific icon or selected brand colors. Optional custom branding adds your logo, app icon and selected brand colors on supported custom-branding platforms. Both versions provide the same VPN service, protocols and functionality.

Is custom branding required to sell VPN?

No. Custom branding is optional. You can use the included brandless VPNclient apps on all supported devices and start selling VPN without building your own apps.

How much does custom app branding cost and how is it billed?

Custom branding costs $39 per month and is billed annually from your partner credit balance.

Is there a contract for custom branding?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no contract. Custom branding is paid 12 months upfront from your partner credit balance. If you stop, it ends at the close of the paid year.

Is there a minimum credit-balance requirement for custom branding?

Yes. A partner credit balance of at least $500 is required to use custom branding.

Is custom branding available on iOS?

No. Custom branding is available on almost all supported platforms except iOS. Resellers can still use the included brandless VPNclient app on iOS.

What happens with very large volumes, for example 500,000+ active accounts?

At 500,000 or more active accounts we create a custom rate for your business. Contact us and we will put together pricing that matches your scale.

Can I sell at any price I want?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You set your own retail price and package duration. Most resellers sell monthly plans between $5 and $12. You can also sell quarterly, semi-annual, or annual plans. Your customers pay you upfront for the full period, while we only charge your credit balance daily. This gives you a significant cash flow advantage.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards, PayPal, and cryptocurrency for topping up your credit balance. We believe in a free and open internet and fully support crypto payments.

What happens if my credit runs out?

Accepted Answer

You will receive email notifications when your balance is getting low. If your credit reaches zero, active accounts will be suspended until you top up. Once you add credit, accounts are reactivated automatically.
